Correlation between Different Methods to Diagnose Foot Posture Condition

Background: Authors refer to different methods assess subjects’ foot posture. All present several limitations depending on the examiner or chosen test. This study aims investigate relationship between tests and Footprints parameters diagnose subjects with a flat neutral foot. Methods: The sample consisted of 37 participants, where 16 were included in flatfoot group 21 group. Only who presented Navicular Drop Test value >9 mm flatfooted participants submitted Resting Calcaneal Stance Position plantar pressure platform assessment for analysis. Associations all determined by Pearson’s correlation Results: Regarding both groups, significant correlations moderate nearly perfect identified conditions statistically (p < 0.05). Conclusions: diagnosis accuracy posture condition can be compromised used shown mislead assessment, unlike that important evaluation tools clinical environment.
